Red Door Cottage: Ski, Hike, Shop, Eat!

We were very comfortable and within walking distance of our Boise family!! Positive: We appreciated utilizing the kitchen. Negative: All was very good.

Very clean, beds were firm nice pillows. We stayed in a 2 bedroom home, nice size bathroom fully stocked kitchen. They even had coffee grounds, white sugar and brown sugar. Good location, off street parking. One thing and I don't think that they have control, but they should complain to the powers in charge " to grade or fill in the gravel drive way. "

Subpar cleanliness Positive: The house was cute. It had cute decorations. The house was fairly well equipped with cookware and dishes. The garden was cute and well maintained. The hosts were responsive and communicative. The WIFI worked well enough for taking work calls. The location was fine if you have a car. Negative: The house was not clean. The towels had a smell. One of the beds had dirty bedsheets. The other bed had a stained blanket. This is likely because the washing machine does not wash things properly. I ran a small load and clothes came out as they came in. The floors were sticky in the kitchen with noticeable chunks of dirt under the beds and sofa (which were visible because the furniture is slightly elevated). All the cookware and dishes had to be washed before using as they were all stained and sticky. Pretty much every cushions in the living room had stains. The bath tub needed a scrub. I don't understand what my cleaning fee goes towards, but it isn't cleaning.

My spine with arthritis wants a refund they have no amenities don’t stay here. Positive: At first it was cute then as we stayed I realized it has been trashed by prior tenets. It’s definitely haunted. It was cute but not very clean Negative: I had to fold and put away towels from past guests, the shower curtain liner was pink which is from soap scum and bodily fluid. The shower water pressure was the worst in the shower. My 2 year old kept tripping over a divit in floor by washer dryer bathrooom entering the kitchen. Not child proof. At all. They have coffee and a coffee maker. No coffee filters. No surges or creamer of any sort. Even not so great hotels prove that. Check out was extremely early. The beds were small and hurt my back. They claim to have an Ice maker. They have 3 ice trays and a bucket to empty the ice in last I checked that isn’t an ice maker. I want a refund… the place is totally haunted. The tv barely worked. Hallway light burnt out as soon as I flipped it on upon arrival. Bathroom lights flicker like paranormal activity I wanted to cancel but I I wasn’t paying another dime for the place. I bought an extra thing of paper towels. Filled the hand soaps since coda did not.. you are going to get mold so bad in your bathroom with no fan and no window or ventilation it didn’t have a dish washer put some money into this place.
