Serenity Gardens -, Hot tub! Fire Pit! near the river walk,

This was our second visit at Serenity Gardens. We believe the name is appropriate. It is a relaxing place to stay with room for the whole family.

Very receptive management regarding our concerns. Positive: Convenient to restaurants, stores. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable. Negative: A little better upkeep would be nice.

A WONDERFUL WINTER STAY! Positive: Property was beautiful! It suited our needs perfectly. The hot tub was wonderful and a huge hit! Very nice neighborhood! Can't rave enough about the house, which was modern, tastefully decorated, clean and very roomy. The big screen tv was awesome. Since it snowed almost every day, the large garage really helped as we could load/unload inside. The beds were comfy and the layout was perfect for 4 adults and 3 kids! Negative: Having a K-cup coffeemaker would've been nice. Hot tub water level was a bit low and, without a hose to use, we had to fill & carry out buckets to raise it. This took about 40 trips! There were 3 frying pans available; only one was actually non-stick. Everything stuck to the copper-colored one, which was useless. Some more games, like backgammon, would be nice.

A perfect place to stay near Boise Positive: A beautiful, clean house close to the river, shopping, and restaurants. My daughter lives nearby and I will be staying there again next time I visit her. Negative: Everything was great, no complaints.

Respite on the River Positive: The furnishings were elegant. The beds were soft. That kitchen had everything we needed. And the neighborhood was nice. We were short on time, but we got into the hot tub once and the rest of the backyard was very pretty Negative: We're familiar with keyless entry. But we found the front door buttons very sticky and just made the door very difficult to get open with the code, and then part of the directions are incorrect. There was no pound key, so that was a little confusing. Likewise, locking the door, one person had to hold it shut while the other put in the code. I could not figure out the thermostat at all. But the younger person with us had one at her house, so she was able to make it work. It might be helpful to have directions in the house on how to use the nest type thermostat. Lastly, we had a little bit of water dripping down through the ceiling vent in the t v room when a bath was taken upstairs. But they were going to get that fixed right away, and i'm sure it got done.
